Dr. Carpenter is accepting new clients for telehealth appointments. There is an option for a free 15-minute telephone consultation if this would be helpful for you. Potential clients should contact Dr. Carpenter for a brief discussion of needs and services (513-278-2631); however, email is the most efficient method of contact (oxfordpsychological@gmail.com).

Rates & Payment options
$225 per 45-minute Individual session
$250 per 45-minute Couple session (90 min recommended)
Cash, personal check, and all major credit cards (surcharge for CC usage) accepted for payment.
Insurance*
Most Cigna insurance plans are accepted for individual psychotherapy sessions with clients who reside in Virginia. Please contact Dr. Carpenter to determine if your plan fits with her specified criteria. You will need to provide your full name, date of birth, Insurance member ID number, and mailing address.
*Please note that insurance claims are not accepted for Couples Therapy and/or appts at or after 5pm.
Out-of-Network Benefits
Psychotherapy services with Dr. Carpenter qualify for reimbursement under insurance plans as an out-of-network provider. Depending on your mental health coverage, most plans (Blue Cross, CareFirst, Aetna, Tricare, and many others) allow you to apply for reimbursement using the billing statement that is provided to you on a monthly basis.
Please contact your insurance company directly to determine if you have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services. Initial questions to ask would be:
- Do I have out-of-network benefits to see a psychologist?
- If yes, what percentage do you cover?
- Do I have a deductible and has it been met?
- What CPT codes are reimbursable? Do these codes require pre-authorization?
- What forms do I need to submit to qualify for reimbursement?
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not provided notification at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the scheduled session.
